What do you love most about your job?
Interacting with people. A team is always at work within a school. I love to see people working together, engage in student and personal growth and in its own way, keep the music playing in our daily lives all for the betterment of the school community.
What is a challenge you face?
Is continue to build and grow community with the mainstream student and staff population.
What is a recent tiny victory, or quick win you’d like to celebrate?
Successes of Community Pathways students at OFSAA Track & Field Competition in Ottawa.
What words of love & encouragement would you like to share with your fellow Humans?
The only way you will get to attempting and building something a second time is when you are brave and willing to go to the start line and try for the first time.
What is something others may not know about you?
One of my fitness pursuits is long distance trail running. I have been fortunate enough to have run several 100 mile running races across North America in my 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s. Here is hoping that I can try one in my 60’s. On a side note, I have yet to run a marathon as a race.
